Are you fascinated by the intricate details of insects, flowers, or textures, but find your current camera setup can't get close enough? Stop dreaming about expensive macro lenses and unlock the hidden potential of your Canon EOS camera with the Fotodiox Pro Macro Extension Tube Set. This isn't just another accessory; it's your gateway to a new dimension of photography. Unlike other solutions that add unnecessary glass and degrade image quality, these tubes simply increase the distance between your lens and the camera sensor. This allows for significantly closer focusing distances, revealing a world invisible to the naked eye.
This comprehensive kit includes three tubes (13mm, 21mm, and 31mm), offering versatile magnification options. Combine them for even greater effect! Crucially, they maintain full autofocus and auto-exposure functionality with your Canon EOS camera and lenses. Imagine capturing the delicate veins of a leaf or the intricate patterns on a butterfly's wing with stunning clarity, all without buying a specialized, costly macro lens. We import these genuine Fotodiox accessories directly from the USA, ensuring you receive authentic, high-quality gear. Get yours delivered fast via ExpressBox, with all customs duties and taxes handled upfront. No surprises, just incredible macro shots.
These macro tubes have worked fine for me These macro tubes have worked fine for me. Build is solid and I've had no issues with the electrical connections. The fit is a bit tight, but I'd rather have that than wobble. I would suggest mounting and dismounting the pieces slowly and carefully, just to be sure the pins don't get damaged or the tube doesn't get stuck on a lens. They aren't perfect, but they can work well and the price is right.
Very good accessory for Canon EOS cameras This tube set is working very good for my purpose of doing macro photography.Particularly very important is the sync, which allows to connect the lenses trough the tube with the camera. This feature is very important, because you can use the auto focus of the lenses. This tube is manufactured with high quality materials, which allows it to fit with Canon lenses and looks almost like made by Canon.
Cheap, solid and damaging. I just tried this last night and it failed. I tested each tube separately and only two of them would allow the auto-focus to work intermittently. When it did let the lens try to focus, it could never actually achieve focus, and this was with the camera pointed at a brightly lit area, like a lamp. One of the tubes never passed any signals through whatsoever. Basically, even though these are supposed to work with auto-focus, they didn't. I might as well just get a set of manual tubes. The tubes themselves are very rugged, and came assembled, just like in the product photo. They were tight and took some effort to disconnect from one another. The release buttons are pretty cheap though, being just a short bare metal rod with a sharp edged flat face. These could have been rounded since those edges do start to irritate the fingers after a few uses.Attaching these to the camera made me wince though. They're a tight fit and sure enough, that tightness did a bit of damage to the mounting ring on the camera. The same thing happened to the lens rings. What was previously a nice shiny finish now looks like it's been beaten up by several years of use. This isn't something you'd want to try on an expensive camera. Also, one of the tube had a slightly protruding contact, which nearly bent one of the contact pins on my camera.I cannot recommend these to anyone, and I'll be returning mine. I'll spring for a set of actual Canon tubes later.
Everything works I bought this to use with my EF lenses, and I wanted to be able to use the electronically controlled ones like the Canon 50mm f/1.4 as well as manual lenses like the Rokinon 85mm f/1.4.The Fotodiox extension tubes work great with all my lenses, and there is no ugly distortion like with a diopter adapter.I find that on my lenses 50mm and wider, I have complete focal coverage almost to the front element using this adapter. On longer lenses, there are some gaps in the close-focusing distance, depending on which combinations of tubes I'm using. It's not a big deal for me, since it's simple enough to move the camera a few millimeters and get the subject in focus again.
Nice, but buy better I purchased this an a less expensive option for macro photography for the occasional extreme close up. When it arrived it was solidly built and had good weight to it. However, with the lenses it worked with it seemed nice but there in lies the problem. The fit is very tight ( almost to the point you worry it will damage your lens or camera) and they only work with canon lenses. It would not work with my sigma lens. So if you are not using it with an actual canon lens, it will not work for you. I returned mine. Hope this helps!
