Dye is bad, but otherwise great choice! These are GREAT. The dye isn't good, but since a lot of small animals are incapable of throwing up, these help dissolve any hairballs and stuff that would otherwise get stuck in their throat and cause problems. Plus fruit & veggie treats are always healthier than the alternative. My hamster loves these and they're a great size to not get stuck in his cheek pouches. Since you shouldn't feed too many at once, these last a long time and are a good deal for what you get. I've been buying them for years.
