A very useful kitchen gadget . Ok, so a little goofy looking but very well designed and great quality. When you need to pull out a hot oven rack or toaster rack just hook the rack with this sturdy silicone, heat resistant gadget and pull it out. It can also be used to push the rack back in. We use it daily and are happy to have it. I would recommend giving it a try.
Handy enough I made a hanging loop for it. Does what it needs to do, as it is a very straight-forward tool. It comes with suggestions on how it can be used (pulling/pushing oven racks and trays). I waited until the price dropped a bit before purchasing it so I feel like the value for money is alright.Durability-wise, it's rigid and silicone-coated so it should stand up well with proper care. Doesn't really need cleaning but given what it's made of if need be should be a breeze to wash (I washed it once, when I first got it).It's an appropriate size/length for my use (pulling rack out to check doneness of bakes, etc)I wanted to be able to hang it so I knitted an i-cord out of a similarly coloured cotton yarn. It now hangs from a cupboard know above the stove.
