Excellent Sound and Value at an Affordable Price The Philips P2000 is a solid pair of headphones for everyday use. They’re comfortable to wear, feel well built, and deliver clear sound that works well for music and casual listening. Setup was simple, just plug in the headphone jack and that's it. They’ve been reliable so far, especially compared to my JBL headphones, which constantly disconnect. In my humble opinion, for $19.99, the quality is impressive. Shipping was also excellent; my order arrived in just 2 days from California. Overall, a great value and a great buying experience.
The cord is waaaaaay longer than I ever expected! I bought the silver headphones. I just wanted some headphones so I could listen to my records and not wake up the whole house. When I first took them out, I liked they way they looked and Philips is a well known brand. I also liked the fact that I could connect the headphones with two different jacks. What I wasn’t prepared for was the extremely long cord!! I’ve never owned headphones like this. I can walk to another bedroom and not tug on the cord. I took a close look at the box and it says TV listening 6m. That’s 6 meters! I didn’t want TV headphones, but that’s what I was sent. I looked back on the product page and the video even says 2m. That would have been better. I guess in the bright side is that I can walk around my office room and have enough cord to walk around. The sound quality is decent. Wish it had more bass, but it could just be the record player. I do like the feel of the fabric ear pads and the volume control wheel on the cord itself. I won’t return them, but just want you to be aware.
Great quality & light weigh! These are light weight and perfect for using a keyboard quietly. Sound is great and clear. Great value for the money.
Sounds Muffled I bought these mainly to use when working on my desktop, playing a few games, or watching videos on my desktop. I also recently started to get into music production and thought I would get a new set of headphones. I was a little displeased to find out that these sound a bit muffled or lower in volume compared to my last pair of Sennheiser headphones. Now these headphones where not your $200 headphones. I received them free when I made a purchase of something else so they may have been a comparable value to these of $15-$30. The headphones over all are comfortable but after extended usage you begin to feel a slight pressure on your ears. I did end up deciding to return and got a pair of Mackie headphones which had much better sound quality.
One price. One payment. No surprises.
