Accurate Looks nice, pretty good quality for the price. Works great. Markings are very accurate, there is more sand than 15 minutes as seen in the picture. This is no issue as I exit my sauna when the sand reaches 15 minutes and by the time my cold cycle is done all the sand is at the bottom and the timer is ready to be reset.
Slowed down a few days in. I timed the sand when I got it and it worked great. I then used it for a week and all I can figure is the glass/plastic melted a little bit and it started slowing the sand down significantly. Like 5 minutes off.

Worked as expected Used in the sauna I built. Temps up to 260 degrees F. Only complaint is that sometimes the sand will stick a bit after sitting but a simple tap of the glass frees it right up. Close to accurate on timing mine was about 15min 30 sec for the full tube. Good value for the money. Essential for frequent sauna use when you want to have a goal of sitting for a certain amount of time. Would certainly consider giving this as a gift some day!
