Worked in my Artisan KitchenAid When doing other maintenance on my KitchenAid, I learned about these brushes. Since my unit was over 10 years old, I decided to replace them, and indeed, the originals were worn down a good 40% or so. These fit, and the unit worked as it should. I kept the old ones as 'spares' if these got worn down while I ordered others. Now this is VERY IMPORTANT! When you remove the originals, do so very carefully so that you can remove the originals in the correct orientation and insert the new ones the same way. IF you rotate them in any direction other than the right way, the unit will not power on. On the Kitchenaids, this is spring loaded, and if you remove the cap and do not do so correctly (slowly and with pressure on the screw holding them in), the brush will spring out, making it rather challenging to see the correct orientation. True for both sides. For this reason, I'm giving ease to install 4 starts, but this is a design issue of how the brushes must be inserted, not how this brand was created.

Fixed my Grandmother's Kitchen Air Was quoted some ridiculous prices to fix my grandmother's Kitchen Aid by reputable servicers, but was able to replace the brushes myself fairly quickly and easily thanks to these parts.Works great now!
Fit Kitchenaid Pro450 lift bowl At first glance, I thought the carbon was too long because my brushes were actually chewed up so bad. The springs are a tad longer than the originals but I gently pushed them in and secured them. I did a regrease and replaced the plastic worm gear and this sucker sounds like it is turbocharged now! This was for KitchenAid Pro 450 (lift bowl model) that's about 15 years old. You can find YouTube videos to help you and Amazon has the parts you need, some of them coming in kits with snap ring pliers included but you will not need snap ring pliers unless you are completely taking apart the planetary gear, which is not necessary for a standard regrease job. What would help you is 1/8 punch and a 1/16 punch to get the pins out. But we did it with old bolts and lots of hammering. It went back together a lot faster and easier than it came apart!
Exactly what was needed Works perfect in our KitchenAid Mixer. Our 20+year old mixer was starting to struggle with thicker doughs. We bought these and replaced the brushes for the motor in no longer than 2 minutes. Instant increase in power and torque. I would definitely buy again. I cannot attest to the durability of the product.
One price. One payment. No surprises.
